"We ended up in 321 a disability room with emergency cord in bathroom/ bedroom. Kleenex instead of toilet paper. Bed appeared to be wide but short head to toe. Good location. Definitely nothing special. Probably wouldn’t go back"

"The breakfast was very good for buffet with cooked options. It’s well located for Winchester but not a hotel with charming views and paying for parking on top of room charges needs looking at. Why not make it inclusive ? A fridge in the room and capsule coffee maker would be more useful than a safe. "

"Staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and attentive. Excellent menu choices and good value. The Kings Head is well situated for exploring Hampshire via public transport and/or car and seems to be a bit of a hub for local residents. The room along with the rest of the hotel is decorated to a good level to make our weekend stay comfortable."

"If you like to be constantly disturbed throughout the night and a gratuitous early morning wake up call, then let me tell you - this place has got just the room for you! Room 202 will not disappoint! Situated directly above the kitchen/ staff area, this room is perfectly positioned for a nightmare stay. Whilst in this room you can expect music and kitchen noise until 10pm and you will really enjoy a very early morning wake up (talking 5am ish) from staff preparing breakfasts, whistling, plates...

"Lovely room lots of character. The food is excellent and clearly very popular indeed the local area, definitely reserve a table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again "

"We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn."

"Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. "

"Great hotel. Staff were good but let down with restaurant weekend staff that could have done more. I kinda felt they didn't make an effort asking a colleague or finding out to andwer my questions instead of just saying "I don't know" Got my simple request wrong 3 times which was a shame. In the end I didn't insist anymore as I felt will just add to my stress."

"Used this on a recent business trip while working at Southampton General Hospital which was close by. Lovely hotel, great evening meal, comfortable and peaceful room. Excellent surroundings too. Lovely."
