"We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, homely, and felt very safe throughout our visit. The location was also great, with shops conveniently close by, making everything we needed easily accessible. The only downside was the noise from the apartment upstairs. We could hear every bang and footstep, which made it difficult to get a good nightโ€™s sleep. It will be great if this is attended to and resolved. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely...

Genting Hotel & Spa at Resorts World Birmingham

8/10 Good
"Overall, it was a great experience and we really enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The ยฃ50 holding fee for damages was charged per night rather than per booking. Although it was refunded within 3โ€“5 working days after checkout, I feel ยฃ50 per booking would be more reasonable. It was also convenient that the holding fee could be paid using any card, so it didnโ€™t have to be the same card used to book the accommodation. The parking arrangements were a little stressful. A new ticket is issued every time you enter, meaning that even if you have paid for 24 hours, you need another ticket if you leave and return. I had to keep going to reception to have additional tickets cancelled. It would be much more convenient to pre-book parking for the duration of your stay with unlimited entry and exit. The spa and pool phone policy was also disappointing. Phones were not allowed, which meant we couldnโ€™t take pictures or videos to capture memories. However, we noticed guests using their phones in the pool and spa areas, even if they werenโ€™t taking pictures. As the rule didnโ€™t appear to be consistently enforced, it felt unfair to those who followed it. A designated phone area or consistent enforcement would be helpful. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the hotel."
