Second time staying at the Clayton in Birmingham, however this visit unfortunately did not match our previous stay. The location of the property is very central and has discounted parking at locations within a 5 minute walk. We were told when booking that interconnecting rooms may be available, however when checking in the front desk informed us that all such rooms were being refurbished and therefore not available to be booked. Rooms were a little tired with some stains on carpet and the shower was broken in one of the rooms. Breakfast was very good with a large range of options.

Staff at desk very helpful. Breakfast good quality and quantity. Area around the hotel was a building site. Would like the hotel to have make further help to clients trying to find the way in and having to walk around the whole hotel.

Good quality hotel but there's ongoing construction work nearby. Rooms are spacious and good breakfast is available. Reception staff should focus on customer service rather than phones and computers.

A really nice city hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. All the staff I met were friendly and accommodating. A special meeting for Leila on reception for her kind and welcoming smile. Next time I visit Birmingham, I will choose the Clayton.

Brilliant stay, just a shame that it was only one night! Great hotel, staff, location, bar, breakfast, you name it everything was spot on! I would highly recommend. Clayton are a great chain of hotels!
