"We travelled in June and the weather was hot! We were looking forward to utilizing the pool to cool off, no such luck! The pool hours were only until 5 pm! Horrible. There was no shade, unless you reserved a cabana, more $$! You could not bring in outside food or beverages. The walk from our room, in the Versailles tower, was not something one would want to do in your swimsuit. You had to take the elevator to the sky bridge, walk through the sky bridge, down an escalator to the casino floor, cross the entire casino floor to get to another part of the hotel to access the pool. Too long of a trek. They offered us the pool at the Horseshoe as it was supposed to be closer. You also had to take the elevator to the casino floor, walk halfway across it to yet another flight of stairs and walk through the lower level to access the pool.
Not the place to stay if you want to relax by the pool to get away from the heat."
