"It's a hostel! Don't expect room service. But it was exactly what we were looking for (cheap room). The added attraction for us was the fact that it is a 125-year-old house. It was great getting to experience sleeping on the floor on futons. As with most hostels, the toilet and bathroom are "down the hall." "I liked that the hotel is close to many things, but not right in thr middle of thr main tourist areas. The room was nice and a bit bigger than most other rooms I had in Japan. Everything was clean. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! Thank you! "

"Simple but clean, affordable, and well located option for staying in Kyoto. The staff seemed to be mainly Indian/South Asian and very fluent in English. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, yet easily walkable to public transit and major attractions. The only downside was lack of on-site laundry facilities (although maybe they had laundry and I just never found it?) Anyway, a great stay."

"離車站很近，算是在兩個站的中間點。在下午兩點後到晚上9點前check in會有櫃台人員，介紹飯店設施很詳細。但隔音真的要斟酌，畢竟是榻榻米房，代表隔間也不是很厚實到完全隔音。晚上十點後要輕聲細語免得吵到鄰間。退房後，行李還可以寄放，算是很優的服務了！另外走路出去五分鐘內可到便利商店和激安，很是方便。而且還可以租借腳踏車，旅行景點也可以直接詢問櫃台人員，雖是英語溝通但很是親切熱情！"
