Visited with my family of 4 and had a wonderful experience. Very close to the metro and lots of restaurants. The area was very walkable and convenient. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain everything as this was our first ryokan experience. The facilities were clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back and would recommend to others!

It was our first time staying at a Ryokan. The room was clean and very comfortable, especially the beds. The dinner and breakfast was phenomenal. Service was smooth and very good. It was an amazing experience. We left feeling well rested.

Pros: Walking distance from Kyoto station Breakfast was excellent If you pick the half board option, you will also be served a traditional Japan dinner which is an amazing experience Cons: Shared public bath might come as a cultural shock to some
