"Lovely staff and hotel"

"A lovely hotel with very helpful staff. The only downside is noise from a cellar wine bar. I was fortunately able to change room. However, ground floor rooms can be disturbed by noisy parties."

"Secure covered Parking available in the square for guests at a price. Breakfast excellent, and really comfy bed and nice touches in room (biscuits, fruit etc). Only downside was lift out of order so hauling a large suitcase up 3 flights of stairs not ideal. Lovely warm welcoming staff. "

"Exceptional price/ value, very friendly and engaging host at reception arrival, functional room with period features e.g. large sash window and architraves. Bathroom finishes could be improved. Full English breakfast was fairly fresh and tasty. Would happily recommend and stay again."
