"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"We had the best time at the Rose and Crown the staff were warm and friendly and the setting was just perfect.Bus stopped opposite to get to Bath so convenient.The food in the pub was excellent we had three couples with us and they all said how fantastic th food was.The rooms were absolutely pristine not a speck of dust bathroom was immaculate high praise for the cleaner.Breakfast was great plenty of choice.Definitely would go back here beautiful."

"Richard is a wonderful and generous host full of gentle attentions. His Grosvenor Villa has a great history that you will start discovering as soon as you enter the magnificent lobby. A nice 20 minutes walk to reach downtown Bath, it’s a central point to discover Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the charming villages of the Cotswold. We highly recommend it and we would we would return with so much pleasure!"

"The Doubletree hotel is clean and comfortable, with convenient nearby parking (though no preferential rate). Its central location in Bath makes sightseeing easy. The staff are helpful and friendly, and check-in is straightforward. Breakfast offers good options. Family rooms only offer a king-size bed and a sofa bed, which isn’t ideal for teens of different sexes—it would be better if two single beds were available."

"Excellent location not far from main town centre but still in quiet area. great staff ,great breakfast clean ,comfy pillows and bed ,good shower and bath ,well stocked complimentary tea coffee milk sugar etc .parking a little tight but staff there to assist if you struggle .saying that would still score it a 10 out of ten and would stay again 👍"

"I, along with my husband, had a wonderful stay at the Temple Inn near Bath last night. We stayed overnight in one of their rooms, which was comfortable and inviting. The Temple Inn combines classic English inn aesthetics with tasteful contemporary touches. The rooms are well-appointed, cozy and therefore a restful stay is ensured. "We were given a full tour of the boat we had reserved with instructions on how to start the engine to make hot water, starting the furnace, etc. but the number of beds had unexpectedly changed (Cru Houseboats was under new ownership since we booked our stay) and the requirements for operating the boat did not appeal to us so we did not stay there. The staff were extremely helpful in finding a hotel late in the day that was close by. "

"Very easy 15 minute walk from the train station. Ling was very welcoming and attentive. Our room was clean and quiet with a comfortable double bed and nice hot shower. The choice for breakfast was excellent and served promptly. A 10 minute walk to the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey in the centre so well placed for exploring. Would definitely recommend."
