"The host, Justin, is an amazing one-man-band. Incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was lovely; clean, bright and warm. Each day my fridge was restocked with water and fresh milk. The breakfast was always fabulous, especially the poached eggs (perfect!). Plenty of parking (free) and beautiful countryside, though not far from all amenities (3 min drive). Pub within walking distance. I will definitely stay again and will recommend to visiting friends and family. "

"Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. "Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ...

"Nice location, large room and bathroom, everything supplied (iron, iron board, hairdryer, fun, toiletries, etc.). Breakfast and the restaurant are very good, as always. On the first floor the temperature was crazy warm, I had to open the window for 2 hours before to be able to sleep. Internet connection issues, the actual wi-fi is fast, the problem is all my devices were constantly loosing connection."
