"Super cool property located in town. The renovation details of the lodge is very upscale. Lots of great amenities; comfy bed; great kitchenette, cool bathroom decor. Good communication from staff and property kept very clean. Great spot to enjoy weekend getaway. Traffic can be busy during the day but everyone is very friendly on the roads to the beach."

"I’ve stayed at Surrey Resort twice now and each time has been an exceptional stay. The location is right outside of downtown and walkable so you can just leave your car parked during your stay. Parking is easy with no issue finding a spot. Check in is easy while being informative as you’re staying in a tent and not a room in typical hotel. "This place is off the highway just a few miles, but very easy to find. A very quiet and peaceful surrounding."

"I haven’t been camping in over 30 years so I wasn’t ready to go tough it out in the woods in a standard tent with sleeping bags so this was a perfect middleground for my family and I. The campground is maintained very well, the staff is extremely friendly, they have lots of activities, live entertainment, and the most refreshing pool I have ever swam in. I will definitely be back."

"I chose a "Pioneer cabin" that contained 3 beds and a picnic table. I knew going in that it did not include linens, electricity, or plumbing, although the property had wi-fi. Restrooms and for-pay showers were nearby, just down the hill. Staff was truly helpful, could not have been nicer. If I visit again, I'll definitely upgrade to one of the full service cabins."

"The accommodations were way too small for the cost. The cabin had a full size bed which was all it could hold. We could not put our luggage anywhere as there was no room so we had to move it around throughout the entire stay which could have been a hazard if we couldn’t get out in an emergency. The walls were thin so we could hear the person coughing behind us. The bathroom was way too small so I had to wedge myself in the bathroom to close the door. The shower stall was too small.
