"We stayed at Section L Kuramae last year (2024) for 5+ nights and again this year for 1 night before heading home. The overall check in process was easy and quick. We are a family of 4 so laundry, kitchenette, and all the other amenities were awesome(need) for us. We love how spacious it was. Since we stayed at a different area this year, we can compare the two. This location is more quiet, residential/ go home for rest. "

"Convenient location, directly across Asakusa station. The hotel is safe, impeccably clean, and quiet considering it’s on a busy street/area. Hotel breakfast had a good variety of both western and Japanese dishes- had Japanese dishes every morning and everything was delicious. The hotel staff are really nice, they helped me with luggage forwarding service. Definitely will be back here when in Tokyo! "

Room view and size were fabulous (deluxe King, river view) Location was great, near trains and walking distance to many attractions. Directly across the street from the National Sumo Stadium. "The experience was great, the staff did the best they could regardless of the language barrier and it felt very welcoming. The cleaning was great as well, we always had fresh towels and clean bed sheets everyday. We also stopped at the nice restaurant on the first which was a great way to start our trip in Japan. This hotel is conveniently located near Asakusa station and Kuramae also having the 711 across the street was a major plus. Would recommend for sure for those looking to stay in Asakusa...

"On arrival, the staff were very kind, the room was very clean (and big compared to many other places we stayed in Japan). It had a kitchenette with a stove top too, big fridge, washing machine, great aircon, balcony, soaking bath/room and so central and local to many fantastic sights in Tokyo. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the train station and close to 7/11 and a supermarket. 100% recommend to everyone. 10 out of 10! Thank you for the enjoyable and comfortable stay!"

"We loved our stay at the Prostyle Ryokan Asakusa. The breakfast was incredible and I’m glad I got to experience a traditional and delicious Japanese breakfast while visiting Tokyo. Beautiful hotel with open air bath, nice spacious bathroom, and even a balcony. Staff was very attentive and helpful and helped us send our luggage to our next hotel. Glad I picked staying in Asakusa over Shinjuku or Shibuya"

"Checked in and out were smooth despite no physical person manning the reception, make sure yr smartphone has data roaming. Comfortable for a family of 5. Double bed a bit small if 2 big adults to share. Sensor lights at corridor and sink area [facing bedroom] can very annoying as they could go on and off. Not recommended for persons who are sensitive to light when sleeping. If these 3 matters were not an issue, this place is great. Have a lift and not too far from subway. The unit is clean, has...

"Lifts were programmed badly. Long queues at the Lobby. Once a lift is assigned another can past by and time of guests is wasted. Also, please have a proper messaging board with the Hotel. Only calls was allowed which is very costly for international travellers. "
