"I cannot see myself going back to Istanbul and not staying back at this hotel. The location was perfect, just walking distance to the Blue Mosque. The breakfast was very good and it has plenty of choices. Rooms were clean and overall the hotel was well maintained. The staff was outstanding. Specially Batuhan and Cineyt (forgive me if I misspelled your name). They were very helpful arranging tours. Highly recommend this hotel."

"It is a very atmospheric older style elegant hotel with a lovely garden with a fountain. An oasis in the very crowded old city. Breakfast was served overlooking the Sea of Marmara The cherry on top is that we had a room with a balcony overlooking the Blie Mosque. A very memorable stay."

"I want to write as balance a review as possible, as although there are a lot of positives to mention, we had some significant issues too.
Firstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to many of the major sites in Sultanahmet. The breakfast was great, especially if you’re keen on exploring new cuisines. Having complimentary access to the pool, spa and gym was also excellent (although please note that if you book at “Sura Design”, you have to cross the road to access...

"Great room, good location, breakfast was ok. Check in took time because the staff was busy. They offered tea or a drink but then I had to ask for my room again. I think there is a person that explains the amenities and different extra options but when you have been traveling you just want your room asap."

"The Hotel ran out of tourist map. Not the best start for a tourist not speaking Turkish. We were assigned a room that has drainage issue with the shower bath tub. Our shower took longer than usual bcos we had to pause the showering water to avoid flooding the bathroom. Still, the bathroom floor was very wet after. We requested for a change of room & they responded quickly & changed our room after breakfast the next morning. Other than this blemish, other aspect of the hotel was fine.

"Our first rooms were in the dungeon, I mean the basement, where the hall carpets were stained, the bathroom had water leaking actively onto the floor and the toilet was up against the wall so close I could not sit up straight. Our windows had the view of a wall a few feet away which encouraged the dungeon feel. Fortunately, after a rather thorough complaint, we were given rooms on the 1st floor the following day that were much improved. The staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed the...

"L'hôtel est très bien situé proche des sites à visiter et proche du tramway. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré déjà en proposant des plats plus chauds comme les omelettes les frites... et servir du pain frais et non congelé. C'est dommage. Il y a un salon mais dommage pas de bar. Mais malgré ces petits désagréments L'hôtel reste compétitif avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande."
