"We stayed at Marriott’s Timber Lodge in South Lake Tahoe and honestly had such a great experience. The location is unbeatable right in Heavenly Village and walking distance to everything, which made the whole trip so easy and fun. The room felt more like a cozy little cabin than a hotel, with plenty of space and everything we needed. Having a kitchen and comfortable living area made it perfect for relaxing after a long day out. The property itself was clean and well kept, and the pool and hot tubs were such a nice bonus. One of the best parts was just stepping outside and being so close to the gondola, shops, and restaurants. It really gave that full Tahoe experience without needing to drive everywhere. Only thing to keep in mind is valet-only parking, but overall it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely come back it was the perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and that cozy mountain vibe."

"We stayed in room 158 which was terrible as it was right next to the exit door which kept on being slammed by other people. I asked to be moved and they said "no". I didn't get a good night sleep due to the slamming on the door all night"

"The location was fantastic for walking. Hotel was very clean and had a balcony. The breakfast was great and the bed was comfortable. It is also very quiet for being just a few blocks from the mail street. "

"Had an issue checking in with my confirmation number. They had the incorrect dates, and I hadn’t even checked out of my room and the housekeeper entered my room without knocking while I was using the restroom. Embarrassing and not professional at all."
