"We had a wonderful stay at Black Bear Lodge. The property was very clean, the area was quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The gentleman at check-in was very friendly and welcoming. "Think twice about staying here. The shower leaked from under the ground and flooded the bathroom and carpet anytime anyone took a shower. That left a terrible smell the entire time we were there. There was able a horrible beeping sound coming from inside the wall or ceiling that was awful, made it hard to sleep. I was never able to reach the front desk, at check in or check out to notify them. They have a phone number, I tried calling that, nobody answered. Best thing I can say, is it was a...

"The room was grossly overpriced and misrepresented in the photos and descriptions - no screens on any door or window, no umbrella for the deck, no fan, no microwave, etc. Staff said screens have been backordered since last April."
