"The rooms are great. They are large, modern and very clean. There is plenty of room to move around. It's in a wooded area so it feels a bit secluded. The views out the rooms are nice. The staff is great. There is a lady there that is either the owner or manager and she is wonderful. She knows the area, makes great suggestions on food and fun stuff to do. She is very kind, polite and generous. She made drinks for my son and I (hot coco and tea). She was fun to talk to. I wrote this...

"The room was very old and dirty. The drawer had mold in it the bathtub had hair in it and so did the bedsheets. Didn’t feel very safe as the door would barely lock and only one of the lights would work in the room. Would like a partial refund. "

"This is our second time staying at Edgelake and we love staying in these condos by the lake instead of a tiny hotel room. Relaxed home away from home style stays that help save money from eating out on vacation with the full kitchen. This unit was a little outdated and we couldn't control the temperature, which oddly enough meant we were to hot all night. Nothing wrong with the beds, per se, but not too my liking and I didn't sleep well. But it's literally on lake Tahoe and close to Northstar...

"The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. "

"There was no staff to be seen on the premises but the online check-in was very easy and informative. Checking out was also just as easy as checking in and the property was really close to the lake which I thought was a plus "

"Coffee pot was cracked replaced immediately. The bedroom bed was as big as the room and the tv pulled out of a cabinet and the doors did not open very far so you had to duck under the doors or close the doors when leaving the far side of the bed. The TV’s were old and tv choices were awful. It is an awesome location to all lifts. The room was updated."

"The room itself was in good condition, and we stayed for two nights. However, after the first night, the staff did not clean the room, make the bed, replace the towels, or restock the water and coffee. We returned late in the evening and had to go down to the reception at 9 p.m. to report all of this."

"Unique set up reminiscent of the 1960 Olympics when the athletes stayed in this hotel. The outside area is newly landscaped with two brand new hot tubs, which were amazing. The pool was closed for cleaning. They have a shuttle that is supposed to run every 10 minutes, but we waited for 30 one time before giving up on it and walking to the hotel -only about a 10 minute walk from Olympic village. Olympic village is adorable and Palisades ski resort was awesome. Had a weird interaction at checkout...
