Ryokans in Soraku District

"My family of 3 had a wonderful time and our 8 year old was delighted with the baths, the kid dinner and buffet. Our only complaint was the dinner restaurant happened to have a lot of loudly screaming children which diminished the experience a bit."

"Incredible stay, food was outstanding! Rooms were magnificent. Will return!"

"Great food and beautiful location"

"Highlight of this hotel is the rooftop sauna that you can book for a private steam and cold plunge. I booked it during the day, but I’m sure it’s even more spectacular at night."

"Right across from the Kyoto main train station. And a real ryokan! The staff were so polite and respectful and helpful. Of course for westerners was a bit uncomfortable sleeping on the floor on futons but something you have to try for Japan! This hotel has an old world charm and the attentions at breakfast made us feel very welcome and special"

"Lovely building with helpful, friendly staff; rooms were clean and amenities were great. Location excellent as it was close to shopping and local attractions."

"The staff was very helpful. The place is closer to the woods, but still in a residential area. It was a pleasant experience."

"Great location. The room is huge, very clean and the ground is beautiful. The Half Board is worth of any penny. Fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. Highly recommended"

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Public bath was clean and had instructions in English. Staff also helped us with luggage transfer while our dinner and breakfast were exceptional."

"Amazing place, people, and location!"

"Great location, welcoming staff, clean comfortable room furnished in a traditional way."

"房間清潔，職員熱心有禮，四個私人風呂各有特色，十分舒適及難忘的體驗。"
