I took a very unused ‘trail’ between the South Chalone and Chalone Peak trails and got to see some amazing geology and incredible landscape. This photo is right at the NPS boundary line overlooking a section of Hain Wilderness. The hike was very tiring but the views are worth it. #Hiking #Camping #SanAndreasFaultline #California #NationalParks #Wilderness

The room service was the worst. Ordered chicken noodle soup. When it arrived it tasted like it came from the can so I called the front desk and to tell them this and asked why it tasted unseasoned. I was told that it was from a Campbell soup can which absolutely threw me.

This motel was in a great and easy location to be able to walk to everything from. The room was clean, but very basic, and a shelf or small table to put our toiletries on in the bathroom (and soap in the shower) would have been helpful!
