"Quaint little town. Only problem we had was the hours. They close early and open and late and not all businesses are open during the week."

"I really liked this hotel! The facilities are quite comfortable, and I loved that they have a Tesla charger on-site. It wasn't busy, so I was able to use it without any issues and free of charge! It also allows non-Tesla vehicles to charge, though I believe you have to pay for the energy and usage if it's not a Tesla (worth double-checking). The location is great—very close to Solvang, several supermarkets, dining options, and right by the Highway 101 exit and entrance. The staff is extremely friendly, and the lobby has a great selection of snacks and drinks for purchase, much better than what you find at other hotels. The ice machine, washers, and dryers are conveniently located nearby. For a small hotel, the gym is remarkably well-equipped; all the machines are very clean, in perfect condition, and look brand new. Areas for improvement: I would improve the natural lighting in the room. Even though the door lets in a good amount of light, it’s not quite enough during the day. Conversely, at night, it becomes a source of artificial light that might bother some people when trying to sleep. However, the biggest downside was the TV cable. The signal kept glitching and looking pixelated; you couldn't watch any program for more than four seconds without interruption. When I asked management, they told me it's a difficult problem to fix because it's not a constant issue but seems to happen randomly. The bottom line is that the TV was completely useless to me."

"Well, when we reached in the night, we were expecting to see the ocean as the name says but did not. However, next morning we noticed in fact it is very close to the Ocean. In terms of the facility it is clean, decently maintained. Amenities are reasonable and serves the purpose. The best part we liked at this facility is the Breakfast. Even though it says continental breakfast, they had more than just bagels, toast and muffins. We had a full breakfast, that's the highlight. Overall its a good place."
