Parking lot has a bad exit for low clearance cars. Danish's were excellent, and conveniently in the middle of Solvang. Coupon book was also provided and was very helpful!

Excellent location... clean and felt very safe. Staff was super helpful. Property and appliances (including TV) are a bit dated and plumbing was a bit noisy. The breakfast was very limited in option. Overall, I loved the location and proximity to everything we were able to enjoy Solvang for the 2 days we were there. We felt safe and had all our needs covered. I would say 4.5 stars. Thank you

Unbelievable! King Frederik Inn in Solvang has been an absolute disaster! Booked our stay through Expedia, expecting a serene getaway, only to be slapped with a non-functional air conditioner in our room. The kicker? We only discovered this at 9 PM, drained and desperate for rest. Their pathetic attempt at a solution? "Just move to the room next door." Seriously? As if the hassle of moving at such an ungodly hour is nothing! It's clear they couldn't care less to check if the air conditioning was working before letting us book. And when I dared to complain at the front desk, I was treated as if I were the problem. The nerve! This isn't just poor service; it's a complete disregard for guest comfort and basic hospitality standards. This horrendous experience has completely soured our Solvang visit. If you're looking for a place that actually values its guests, avoid King Frederik Inn at all costs. A total disgrace to the hospitality industry!
