I have never had such a terrible hotel experience. As I was taking my 3 year old daughter out of the shower, the glass completely shattered and it came off the railing, thus shattering into thousands of pieces all around her and I. Those that did come to assist with lots of blood and panic (Carina and Jeremy) were amazing and helpful. However, there was no follow up call to see how we were doing and at checkout the woman at the front desk Maria (who I later found out was the general manager) was terribly rude and unaccommodating. When asked how our stay was I said we made the most of the situation and none of us were wanting to take a shower because of the incident (obviously) and she shrugged it off and acted like she heard nothing. I called the next day to just let them know I was feeling a bit upset about how the situation was handled and one of her responses was “I am sorry you feel that way”.. In the end she said she would refund our stay and I asked her to send me a confirmation email ( she never did refunded anything or sent any type of email) an opportunity to stay at another one of their hotels of our choice (still no email).
Expedia staff was amazing when I explained the situation and they made it right. But in regards to the customer service and common decency at this hotel, I’d find another place to stay.
