"This Holiday Inn Express had had a rough few days prior to our arrival, with several months' worth of rain falling over about 48 hours. This resulted in parking lot flooding and some incursion of water into the lobby. They notified us in advance and were coping with it as well as could be expected. Part of the parking lot was closed and the carpets were going to need a good cleaning, but we had no trouble finding a good space for the car.
