"From checking in with Siobahn, who was such a marvellous credit to the hotel, she was so helpful, giving advice and genuine warmth. A small amount of parking under the hotel was a boon, safe and close to the main routes out of London. They had done lovely small touches like earplugs in the rooms, as London can be a noisy city. Fans for this heatwave, also available. Lovely garden courtyard to escape the heat with drinks. Very close to Russell Tube station to get around. I would stay again."

Otherwander Soho Pod Hotel (ADULTS ONLY)

Otherwander Soho Pod Hotel (ADULTS ONLY)

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was very interesting. I didnโ€™t realize I was staying in a cabin, or a โ€œnestโ€ as they call it, until I actually saw it. My double bed room was small enough for one person, so I canโ€™t imagine what a single room looks like. However, for the price I paid in London during high season, it was definitely worth it. Everything is digital. After making your reservation, you receive several emails with steps to get a QR code, which youโ€™ll need to access pretty much everything. If your phone dies, you might be in a bit of trouble, although there always seemed to be an employee on duty. I hadnโ€™t seen the emails while flying, so my check in took about 30 minutes until I completed all the steps. The room feels like a small ship cabin, but I had a very comfortable night of sleep. I didnโ€™t hear any noise from my neighbors and slept very well. The bathrooms are shared, similar to a nice gym. Everything was very clean, you barely bump into other people, and it still feels private. There isnโ€™t much space for luggage, but they offer lockers, so you can just bring what you need into your room. The location is a huge plus, right in the heart of Soho. For young or adventurous travelers, this can be a great option!"

"From arrival to departure the hotel staff were excellent - informative, helpful, cheerful with a can do attitude. The public areas of the hotel were consistently clean and very well maintained. Our room was lovely - well equipped with everything we needed for our two night stay. Toiletries, towels and bed linen were first class. The air conditioning and window blinds made for a very comfortable nights sleep. The hotel location, overlooking the Tower of London and adjacent to a great transport hub allowed for easy exploration of the city. Will certainly return."
