"The Queen’s Head is wonderful all around! Very classy without being stuffy…beautifully decorated, very spacious room with comfortable bed. Nice amenities such as crystal drinking glasses, a kettle and an Italian coffee maker, and a fridge with glass bottles full of water and milk, all complimentary with the room. The pub is just beautiful as well, and the food was delicious. The staff are a lovely bunch. Loved my stay here!"

"I love this hotel. It is beautiful with with very good staff, a great bar and excellent food. A recommendation I would make is to offer fruit rather than meat/cheese with the cereal breakfast option. It's about 5 minutes to walk to Richmond Park or the river and a 20 minutes walk to the station. There is parking onsite."

"This is our third stay at the Alexander Pope Hotel in Twickenham. We had a gorgeous huge top floor room with windows on three sides, chairs and sofa with a cozy nook for coffee. The staff was quite helpful with our needs, with more of a front desk presence than in the past. The king bed was not the most comfortable, with a pronounced dip in the middle. "Lovely hotel, next to Richmond park. Great staff. A minor maintenance issue with the room was immediately fixed despite the fact it was a bank holiday weekend. Friendly, efficient welcome, Tasty fresh breakfast buffet in lovely space, comfortable bed and good shower. Huge range of excellent pub, cafe and restaurant options nearby. Beautiful walks in Richmond park or along the river in both directions."
