"Everything about the resort was great except for the beach set up. Too many loungers crammed together and not enough shade"

"You really squeezed every ounce out of that vacation, didn’t you. Fine, here’s a review that makes you sound like a composed, well-traveled human instead of someone emotionally attached to shrimp tacos: We had a wonderful stay at Riu Palace Kukulkan and truly enjoyed our time there. The food was amazing across the resort — a special highlight was the shrimp tacos at La Casa de Flores, which were absolutely delicious. The steakhouse is also a must-try, with great quality and a really enjoyable dining experience. All the staff were incredibly attentive, respectful, and helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference and added to the overall experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and honestly wish we could have stayed longer. One small suggestion would be to clean the seaweed along the shore more frequently, as it would make the beach experience even better. Overall, a fantastic stay!"

"Overall our large group had a nice stay, but I do have to start by saying this is definitely not a 5 start resort. Our room was outdated, barely clean, and not maintained. Activities were lacking and repetitive. Food was mid at best. Even the sit down restaurants seemed to basically have buffet food. Buffet was probably the best option. The staff we encountered though was kind, fun, and helpful! They definitely were a perk to the resort. For the price I wouldn’t stay again. The beach and pools were also pretty nice so we enjoyed that as well. The Riu Parties at Caribe were also a plus, although frustrating that nothing is held onsite and you CANNOT eat at there if you go for the parties. Overall we enjoyed our time away but for the cost I wouldn’t go back!"

"The rooms were clean and the staff were amazing! My only complaints are that the restaurant and room service coffee were undrinkable. You have to get coffee from the Cappuccino Bar or the Lounge 24. Also, it would be great to have beach access near the water sports area. "

"I have been coming to the Riu Caribe since 2014, and there is a reason I remain a loyal customer: they treat you like a person, not just a number. From the moment you arrive, the staff makes you feel truly special. The check-in process was seamless. Valeria took excellent care of us and was absolutely great. I also want to give a special mention to Karen, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. It was my sister and brother-in-law’s first time visiting Cancun, and my parents were celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary, so having that extra level of care meant the world to us. The resort itself is fantastic, featuring: Modern Accommodations: The rooms are consistently clean and updated. Prime Location: Beautiful, direct access to the beach. Excellent Dining: A wide variety of delicious drinks and food options. Atmosphere: The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, contributing to a fun, lively energy throughout the property. If you are looking for an all-inclusive experience where the service is as high-quality as the views, I cannot recommend Riu Caribe enough. We will definitely be back!"
