"We were so pleasantly surprised about everything, especially the proprietors Dave and Joyce. This property is a typical, old 1950s Motor Inn on the old Camino Real. Make no mistake, it is not near the beach, but it has an intended “surfers vibe” and sits right on the Green line of the free San Clemente trolley line that runs every 15 minutes to the Califino Beach or the San Clemente pier and all points in between. "Great location. Checking in was a breeze. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman that checked us in. He was just lovely and had lots of useful information. The lobby also had fresh fruit to grab if you needed a snack. Complementary water and cookies in the room. Great layout, we had a partial view of the ocean. We were only there for one night, but would definitely stay longer next time."
