Great little location. The grounds were well maintained and staff was friendly. We stayed on the ground floor and had some loud upstairs neighbours but that is like most places. Would stay here again.

We travel to Monterey every year for a golf trip. We have stayed at the El Castell many times and are very happy with what they have to offer. Nice, helpful staff and clean quiet rooms that meet our budget. Look forward to next year.

I like the property because of the location, just across the street from the Park, no transportation needed. Rooms was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had Wi-Fi which I downloaded to my phone. I would stay there again.

Really nice clean and modern with round the clock tea and coffee access, if you can make the busses into town work for you then this is a great place to stay we found it very easy and it was all booked at a very good price with big family rooms.

the motel was very nice and clean. super cozy and not too far from monterey. the only thing that i’d complain about is the housekeeping coming in your room unprecedented at 8/9am without letting you know.
