"The staff was alright, but the rooms were very minimal. The beds look and feel like IKEA specials. There was mold growing in the shower. There must not be any insulation in the walls, as I could clearly hear a phone call in the adjoining room and hours worth of children upstairs running and jumping in their room above mine. I suppose if all you want is a room near the beach and don't mind not sleeping, this motel would suffice."

The manager at the sister hotel kept apologizing and told me to contact the manager at my hotel (Denise) in the morning and she would “make it right” the following morning spoke to Denise and explained everything that happened,...

"We had a great stay at Hearst Castle Quality Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient, with easy access to Hearst Castle and nearby restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was a nice way to start the day, and the overall value for the price was excellent. We'd happily stay here again when visiting the area."

"I ended up with two different rooms. Apparently, the first room had not been cleaned and was pretty disgusting, so they gave me a second room, which was probably one of the nicest rooms that I have EVER been in. As long as you get a room that was cleaned it's an extremely nice hotel"

"Went for an overnight stay with kids. We had a suite which was large enough for the 4 of us. Views were beautiful and the restaurant across the street was great with good service. Cute little town with lots of beaches. Front desk staff was helpful and pleasant."
