"The room was clean and it was nice having the kitchenette. That being said, the smell of eggs cooking nearby were not a pleasant way to wake up!! Also, our stay was during the week which made it pleasantly quiet…the weekend however is another story. Also, there isn’t a separate exit which makes it hard to navigate the parking lot if you have a large vehicle."

"We've stayed here many times. Sometimes in the main lodge, and a few times in cottages. The whole site is pretty nice and close (8-10 miles) to a lot of cool beach sites. The cottages are a bit rustic and might not be squeaky clean. During this stay, ours had a few light bulbs out, and a janky shower, but overall the Creekside Cottage is pretty cozy-- perhaps 20% overpriced if we're splitting hairs--it's really just a one-room cottage with two sofa beds that can be utilized in the middle of the...

"These are lovely cottages with incredible ocean views, a short drive from downtown Mendocino. The on-site restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed breakfast there daily, and a wonderful dinner on Friday night. Our server, Cody, deserves special recognition. He was so personable and remembered everything we told him! He made our visit extra special. The only downside to our visit was that our fireplace wasn’t working. That would have made our visit perfect!"

"The location was great, beautiful views of the ocean and easy walk/access to the beach. The room was got was very run down. The bathroom window was broke and wouldn’t stay open, the AC didn’t get cool and it was pretty humid in the room. You definitely pay for the view and not the room. We also booked a partial ocean view and we had to walk out of our room to see the view."
