"Clean and comfortable for the one night we stayed there. The upper floor room had a balcony and did not face the main road, so it was quieter. The bed was comfortable, except for the thick foam rubber pillows. The hotel staff was friendly and had a lot of good local information to share. "

"What a great place. The owners were friendly and greeted us with chocolate chip cookies. The room was super clean and the grounds well taken care of. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. There was a bar/grill next door with a gorgeous view of the ocean, a convenience store next to that and I'll will stay with them next time we go thru San Simeon. This place is a gem and highly recommend staying here."

It’s in walking distance from a pizza place and a couple other restaurants, which was nice to not have to drive. But during the night around 2 am there seem to be a little party outside our door but didn’t seem to last long as it dissipated in a short time.
The breakfast is minimal but it’s free so can’t complain. The room is clean, the A/C works great, and the bed is comfortable. Was a good stay...
"We had the best time staying with Edward and his family at Captain's Quarters in Fort Bragg. Edward was so hospitable from the moment we arrived to the beautiful home & instantly made us feel like a part of the family.
