"Everything was perfect for our family of four. The hotel is very clean, smells good, and the staff are very nice. I communicated through email, and they answered promptly. There are grocery stores right next to the hotel, many restaurants nearby, and it’s within walking distance to tourist spots, shopping, Kamo River and train station."

"Had such a great stay at Kaya Hotel in Kyoto! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location made it super easy to get around—close to transport and plenty of great food spots nearby. The staff were lovely and really helpful with recommendations, which made exploring Kyoto even better. It felt like a mix of modern comfort with a bit of that local charm. Would definitely stay here again "

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."

"Diese Unterkunft war wirklich die beste Wahl in Kyōto und auf der Japanreise. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, tolle Einrichtung, schöner Onsen und sogar organisierte Maiko/Geisha Vorführungen. Auch die Lage ist super gut um Kyōto zu besuchen."
