"It was a brand new hotel so everything was new. Nice appliances and fixtures. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has free shuttle bus to tourist attractions which saved us time and money. Also very good location for many conveniences. Only issue was that we stayed for 5 nights and room didn't get cleaned as scheduled. "

"The staff were extremely helpful, storing luggage, arranging luggage transfers and offering use of their phone for a local call. Kids loved the bunk-beds and it was definitely handy having an in-room washer-dryer. The room was comfortable for a family of 4 but we were disappointed at there being no good views as the hotel is only a few stories high, in a quieter street. I had high expectations due to the Mimaru brand having great reviews especially for families, and while it ticked all the boxes...

"Dejligt rummeligt værelse med to enkeltsenge og en sovesofa. Eget køkken og fint bad med bruser. Alt i fantastisk stand. Hotellet virker helt nyt. Stedet har en rigtig fin placering med let adgang til Gion, metro, restaurant-områder mv. Ok vaskefaciliteter, som dog er lidt begrænset og den ene af to vaskemaskiner virkede kkke. Ind og udtjekning er via tilsendt kode og qr, men der er venligt og hjælpsomt personale tilstede på hotellet. Vil klart anbefale stedet. "

"Located in kitano area close to tenmangumae shrine. Good connectivity via local buses esp num 203 to gion area. Close to railway line for arashiyama bamboo forest. Overall a pleasant stay ."

"Beautiful hotel in a nice area. Very walkable. There were some areas that were not perfectly clean like the floor surrounding the bed and nightstands. A pleasant stay and would recommend. "

"Very nice affordable place to stay. Pretty walkable to everywhere. The only negative was not always having access to a front desk person and they couldn’t call a cab for us. But I would stay here again. "

"Our room was impeccably clean and toiletries were provided which was nice. The beds were comfortable. The area around the hotel was safe and quiet. Lots of shopping and dining choices within walking distance. We would stay here again."

"Nice place. The two bedroom suite had two bathrooms, three tvs, and four beds. This place had plenty of room! The in suite washer dryer combo (with included detergent) was extremely handy. Staff was nice and couldn’t have had a roomier stay."

Best place for solo female traveller

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."
