"Large than normal rooms with nice sized single beds. Connected to a very nice, high-end grocery with hot food and beverages. Lounge and spa were nicely kept and comfortable. Shopping space on third floor is full of unique Japanese items. Location is very central. Would stay here again when back in Kyoto. "

"Villa Sanjo is a wonderful hotel. We stayed for one week during Christmas 2025 and could not have had a better experience. The hotel is situated in a side street but is very central and easy walking distance to restaurants, train stations, as well as highlights like Nishiki market and Kawaramachi shopping area.
