"This hotel is listed under Expedia when you search for hotels nearby Papeete. I booked it accidentally for this reason and canceled less than 5 min later when I realized the error. Expedia and this hotel have refused to refund and response to tell me that my five minute booking will not be refunded has been slow. Best case, the owners of this hotel are just not aware of the entire situation as communicated to them by Expedia...worst case is that the property is intentionally mislisted to scam...

"The hotel is managed with a 24-hr check in counter with housekeeping on standby, Daily room cleaning or towel change is not provided unless if you request for it. The breakfast provides a wide variety and the food was fresh and delicious. One downside is the elevator crowd during peak hours where we had to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive and a long time inside the elevator to reach our floor. The hotel tried to mitigate the situation by having a staff to operate the elevator but...

A specail thank you to Maya at receiption, who make out check in smooh and welcoming. The location is not the most convenient, especially for getting to the main shopping and transport areas, but we appreciated that the hotel provideds a complimentary shuttle service, which was very helpful. "Had a really good stay at Courtyard by Marriott Melaka, check in was a breeze, the front office staffs are very friendlt, the room was clean and spacious, bathroom for the city view king bed had a bathub in it, strong water pressure from the showers, buffet breakfast was good too, enjoyed the pastries and coffee from the espresso machines. Their room service “at your service” was great, requested a firmer pillow and they delivered. Will definately return to this hotel if in Melaka."

Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Comfortable room..great views..pool was fantastic. Great selection at breakfast. Easy walking to pld town area..eateries nearby."

Casa del Rio Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Great location for seeing Malacca - can do most things on foot and if booked at reception the river cruise picks up from hotel jetty"

ibis Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"[WHAT WE LOVED] EVERYTHING! Location (within 10 minutes walk to Jonker Street), clean, spacious, lights on bathroom mirror (convenient for make up), direct USB charger, nice bed and pillows and bolsters, water dispenser, friendly and helpful staffs, no smoking hotel! Overall it's a big big like for ibis! ——— ——— ——— [AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT] The facilities wear off a bit. Can see some minor parts (toilet bowl) chipped off, and toilet door is hard to close (need to push / pull very hard for the door latch to fit) but overall not impacting the staying experience as it is clean and in good location. (Might want to consider replacing the toilet seat cover in the lobby restroom?) ——— ——— ——— [OVERALL] Definitely one of my top choices for Melaka accommodation."

The Pines Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel and room was great at the price point, just unfortunate didn't manage to get any early check-in on the day of arrival. In fact, only got keys to room 15 mins after the standard check-in time. Apart from that, enjoyed the balcony in the room and the large bathtub too. Buffet Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food. Hotel is also located within walking distance with good food options. Oh, another thing. Love the pool, that actually comes with sea salt rather than the usual chlorine, which does more wonders for hair and skin than the chlorine would."

Bayview Hotel Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Ideal hotel with adjoining rooms for a big family in centre of town and multi-storey parking."
