"Definitely a unique hotel with a fun, vintage atmosphere. It had basic amenities in the room, no fridge- but i had a cooler. The unique decor was what sells this room- it was the Norma Jean room. The hotel itself seems pretty old, but that's what gives it the charm. The rooftop restaurant/ bar had a nice view and good food/ service. I know parking seems to be an issue for some, but i opted to pay $15 extra to get a spot on site in a small lot. I unfortunately left before breakfast was served,...

"We had the loveliest time staying at the Monte Verde Inn! The staff was incredibly helpful and Randy the concierge provided us with incredible restaurant recommendations. Our room was perfectly tidy and comfortable. Overall, we couldn’t speak more positively of our experience there and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Carmel-by-the-Sea!"
