"Good value for money given the very central location and it was clean enough. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer because it was so noisy. We could hear everything from the street below all night long. Also a few security concerns given the key used to unlock the main shared door is the same key that opens the key to your bedroom. Theoretically anyone staying there has access to your room with their key. "

"Belford was my first night in Edinburgh and it was super chill. An easy walk from Haymarket station, the 24/7 check-in was really nice. I had a lovely private room (only 4 of those, so book early!) and the staff were super friendly and kind. It was a chill, well-stocked place right besides Dean Village and not far from West End and their nice bars and cafes. "

"No lift to the upper floors is an issue. Bathroom shared was inconvenient because i go th Bathroom at least twice. However, Location is excellent and the staff are super helpful. They responded immediately."

"We got a small cozy room with en-suite bathroom. It was neat. The hotel is mainly a hostel with a very few rooms with en-suite . But given the high cost of hotel rooms in Edinburgh in August , the price of this room was good . Can’t complain . Breakfast is provided by a restaurant opposite to the hotel . "

"The address in Hotels.com was incorrect. Since this a flat/room, there is no sign on the building indicating this was the correct place. Fortunately the phone number for the owner was correct and we got to where we needed to be. Other than that hiccup, the landlord was sweet, the room clean, location within walking distance of most of the sites. "
