Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen Adults Only All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed at Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen from October 23–28, and friends surprised us by joining, bringing our group to nine. We all had an absolute blast! I rarely leave reviews, but this resort deserves one. The service was outstanding. Every restaurant accommodated all nine of us for dinner without any trouble, which meant so much because sharing our evenings together was a big part of the trip. Dinner was consistently delicious, with generous portions, and the drinks were excellent. Breakfast had a smaller selection, but the chef was happy to prepare something on request. My advice: just ask! We appreciated that flexibility, especially during low season when a huge buffet could mean unnecessary food waste. The rooftop sushi restaurant was extraordinary. The poke bowl and spicy tuna were out of this world—I would return for that restaurant alone! Renting two cabanas for the day cost us $100 total, which we thought was incredibly reasonable. The foam party was another highlight—so much fun! Outside of that event, the pool atmosphere was quieter but very friendly. We met lots of people, and everyone was chatting and enjoying themselves. If you want a nonstop party resort, keep that in mind, but we certainly had no shortage of fun. A special mention goes to José, our outdoor waiter, who told us he has worked there for over 24 years. He is an absolute gem—professional, welcoming and unforgettable."

Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancún - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Beech lovers be aware of a shallow waters at the beech, if you like pools they are great at this resort. The other con is that you can get coffee at the main lobby only compare to other resorts where they have it at the beech bar. All restorants have a grate food and service!"

Catalonia Playa Maroma – All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Overall, we had a good stay at Catalonia Playa Maroma. The beach was really beautiful, and the drinks were great. The food was good, although the selection could have been a little better. Service was sometimes slow, but overall, the staff were friendly. The biggest issue that definitely needs attention is the flies around the food. They were everywhere, including inside the buffet, constantly landing on the food. This was unpleasant and raised concerns about food hygiene. The resort really needs to address this issue to improve the dining experience for guests."
