Food is terrific (especially Canoe House; fabulous meal and service!), hospitality was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable with an incredible view, the golf courses and pools and beach amenities were five-star, and the overall vibe was relaxing and posh without being pretentious. "As advertised, the staff is exemplary! All you need to do is ask and a member of the staff will fulfill your request quickly. We had a problem with our TV and they replaced the entire TV in about 15 minutes. The staff has a sense of pride when it comes to making sure everything works at Mauna Kea and that all of your needs are met! Our room was meticulously cleaned daily and again, you can ask housekeeping for anything and they will respond to the request promptly. You won't find a better...

"This is a great home located inside a huge resort, which I didn’t know when I booked. There is a grocery store, several shops, upscale restaurants and a private beach with great snorkeling. You will not be disappointed."

"The property itself is just as described with all amenities and conveniences for a luxurious short term stay. Our only complaint would be the constant gardening - sometimes during early morning hours. One other small issue - we paid extra for hotel access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels but the Hapuna was under massive construction with jack hammers etc, in hearing distance from the pool and beach. Needless to say, we didn't go there again during our stay."
