"The place is semi-run down. The staff called us 3x day to try to get us to buy a timeshare. The older rooms were decent and clean but holiday inn caliber. Check in staff not helpful at all. I am Hilton gold and they refused all my requests. Perhaps because of the different tower. Long walks to pools - not for the disabled! Will not return"

"It’s a very nice place. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. A resort hotel should be 100% operational. The boats don’t work anymore. The tram only serves two sections of the hotel. The food options are limited and of low quality for the cost. A $50 plate of pasta should never arrive at a table cold. Lunch and dinner options are limited. "Everything by was fine except our bathroom sink was clogged and the A/C cover wasn’t attached properly so it rattled all night. Needs more attentive maintenance that doest skip steps for the sake of time. "

"This was a great place to stay, right by the coast and Reeds Bay. Our room was clean. They have laundry, pool, security. We upgraded to a bay view and it was worth it. The building is dated but those cement walls make your room very quiet! No a/c but it’s not needed- at least not in the room we were in."

"Pleasant stay. we spent the day at the Volcano Natl Park which is only 7 minutes away. had dinner in town, checked in about 5pm. when you drive onto the property you feel like you are in the middle of the rain forrest. really appreciated the tasty banana bread, snacks, and fruit that was left out. our room had a hot tub, which we didnt use. the matress was comfy. very quiet surrondings."
