"We had to change our length of stay from 2 nights to 1, due to our flights being cancelled (Middle East crisis) I contacted the hotel 6 days prior to arrival who have (so far) refused a refund for 1 nights stay . When asked for an early check in they wanted to charge an extra sgd 480 we are already paying for an extra night when we aren’t staying at the hotel. Very frustrating. "Was surprised that the room came with gym equipment, not sure if all rooms are equipped or not but it’s a nice touch for guests who do not wish to go down and share the hotel gym (I’m not sure if they have one) with others. Anyway we don’t use the gym so it’s a tad wasted on us. Room is big and we enjoyed the stay, there was a sofa set in the room as well so it’s convenient for us to put our shopping bags and stuff around. "The Concierge was exceptional! I wish we had gotten his name. My husband thought he lost his wallet coming through immigration at the cruise port. The concierge called to inquire. Then he called the taxi that we rode in from the port to the hotel. It was found. Then he arranged to store our luggage and secure a limo taxi for the ride to the airport. We gave him a US gold plated coin to show our appreciation. You are lucky to have him."
