Hotels with Amazing Views in East of The Strip

" PRETTY MUCH"

"The Flamingo was a lovely place to stay while we were in Vegas for a business trip. There were plenty of electrical outlets, a frig, and a big TV! There was also a coffee maker with two pods for two cups. The room was spotlessly clean, turn-down service provided at night, and a room made each day. Caveat: you may see lotion boxes by your sink as I did. Mine was empty & when I called to ask for a refill they told me it is no longer an amenity. I then then I received a text message stating the lotion "boxes" are no longer re-filled. I replied via text countering then why are they there and the person replied that they are in the midst of being removed. Caveat: if you use the phone to call Housekeeping, it is an AI Bot. It was impossible to speak to a real person using the phone. Caveat: while super easy to check a bag to hold in the early a.m., it took more than 10 minutes to reclaim it in the early evening. 10 minutes isn't so bad but all I'm saying is don't assume you'll be able to retrieve it immediately. When I requested help from the staff they were nice and simply stated they are short staffed, which was a constant theme in our stay, i.e., high customer demand but few workers. All in all, even with these two tiny niggles, I highly recommend this fantastic hotel for location, restaurants, and views (we were on 24 facing the Sphere). Also, the staff were friendly, kind, polite, and only willing to help with all my questions. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!"

"Room is ok clean, staff are friendly enough. Think of this place as Vegas in the old days. Drinks are cheap and no pressure to gamble. Smoker friendly, but can get abused by 420er. Plenty of securities so nothing to worry about. I wouldn’t bring kids here. Convenient location, a handful of good fast foods and expensive steakhouses all in walking distance (20 mins-ish). A place great for Vegas local or those of Old Vegas. You want class? Go to the strip. This place is great for what you pay for, but for those who in the know, this place is a jewel. PS. Expedia’s pricing does not include resort fee, but they aren’t outrageous. "

"Not in the heart of the Strip but close to both Downtown and the major Strip players (Wynn Encore MGM Caesars. You can get $60 total cost rooms midweek and free self and valet parking. The hotel is only a few years old and so much more modern and better than comparable "bargain" properties like Flamingo, Harrah's Horseshoe. Also the snack store and Starbucks are reasonable and the cafe has good $15 sandwiches and salads. Two of the bars feature $7 cocktail specials. An "affordability" play with large spanking new rooms!! "
