"The hotel was nice and clean. The building was modern so not located in Venezia center, but is ~20- 25 min walk. The breakfast buffet was nice but nothing extraordinary. Also, they would charge for a lot of stuff that usually is included in hotels. For example our checkout was 11 am and our train was a 1 pm and we asked the staff if it's possible we leave our luggage for 2 hours while we go around the city and they said we had to pay $15. or one night we asked for a plate and they charged us for...

"I had the most fabulous stay at Hotel Rialto. I had a magnificent view of the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. In addition, the staff were really helpful and kind and the breakfast was terrific. It was great to be so close to the Rialto Markets and a waterbus stop. It meant I could come and go easily during each day of my visit. "

The first room was'nt quite as expected compared to the photos, therefore we mentioned it to reception since it was for a 40th birthday weekend and a lovely receptionist called Ramona showed us to another room which was amazing, she was very understanding and friendly with this request. "Super cute hotel with lots of character in a great location right by the Rialto market and bridge . So much history in the building and it’s decor. We stayed in the suite with private bathroom. Highly recommend! "

"The Splendid Venice was in a perfect location to sightsee, so near Rialto and San Marco. The staff were very friendly and overall the hotel was warm and inviting, with lovely seating areas and a bar to relax in after a tiring day viewing the attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The location is amazing - less than 3 minutes from St. Marks Square. The hotel overlooks the canal and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. My room size was fine and it felt quaint and Venetian. It had very amenity I needed. The breakfast was excellent and all staff very friendly. I appreciated being given a cappuccino when I was working in the lobby / bar area one morning. There are also some areas on each floor to utilise if needed. I travel to Venice regularly so do hope to stay here...
