"Our rooms were not in the main hotel, but in a separate annex a couple of streets away. There was no lift just a crumbling old concrete staircase which was difficult for my elderly mother. One of the main reasons I had chosen the hotel was the advertised lift. The apartment door handle came straight off in my hand. Our rooms were on the first floor above a street junction with a late-night shop and bar below, so it was very noisy until gone midnight. At four AM noise started again with...

"This experience was hands down the worst hotel stay I've ever encountered. The staff were not only unhelpful but downright rude, showing no regard for basic customer service. The room was an absolute nightmare—filthy and stained, with the shower and bathroom infested with mould. There was no shampoo or soap. The TV had no remote, and there was no remote for the AC. To make matters worse, I was given the wrong type of room; instead of the quad room I booked, I was stuck in a cramped double...

"I spent one evening at this hotel. The staff are very helpful and send a message after booking clearly explaining amenities and policies. If you arrive early, they will stow bags in the hallway adjacent to the front desk but it is not locked. The hotel is centrally located. Just a 5 minute walk to the Basilica of San Marco and the Grand Canal. Also a quick walk to the Rialto. The rooms are clean, there is a refrigerator, and the bathrooms look recently upgraded, but the rooms and hallways are...

"Room was clean and I loved the bathroom aesthetic. The space was a bit cramped but it didn’t bother me that much – as long as the place is clean. Staff was helpful with restaurant suggestions and how to get to/from the train station easily with luggages since Venice had bridges after bridges (traveling with big luggages will be a challenge). The only thing that I noticed was the smell in the reception area (smelled a little like sewer/canal), but overall great stay! Great area to have a view of...
