"I had two rooms - the first a double on my own and then a triple when my friends arrived for Venice half marathon. My double room was great, walk in shower and room was made up every day, spotlessly clean too. The triple was a little less nice, tiny shower cubicle and the room wasn’t made up or the bins emptied which let it down. Breakfast was basic, but they did have a couple of pre packaged gluten free options. We ate one night in the restaurant and it was ok but we wouldn’t eat there again, we did it as we arrived late back one night and there’s nothing else around the hotel to go to. Bonus is that it’s 5 minutes walk to the boat stops, flixbus and the people mover. Really disappointingly though you have to pay to store your bags in lockers at €15 for the day which I think is ridiculous - never stayed at a hotel before which does that."

"We stayed in the annex, which is separate from the hotel no elevator we were at the top heavy bags. The hallway light wouldn’t come on very dark in there, bed it was a bit hard. Lovely staff nice breakfast for €15 Great location Very clean they actually clean your room every day"

"We loved our stay at Palazzo San Luca! Located in a prime site seeing location and easy to get to via the water bus. We were a group of 3 staying in the Premier Apartment and loved our stay! It was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Highly recommend!"

"We loved this quaint hotel on the Venice main canal. The water taxi dropped us right at the door and the porter came right out for our luggage. Very important in Venice! Champagne in our lovely room along with amenities of a high end boutique hotel. Highly recommend!"

"The location is really good. About a two min walk to the train station. It’s down a narrow alley so even though you are right next to the hustle and bustle the people and noise is absent. The hotel is clean and the rooms were nice. The reason we didn’t give it 5 stars across the board was the shower. Great pressure and relatively roomy. The problem was the way the designed the shower/tub allowed water to go under the glass door and completely flood the floor. Every single time. We tried using extra towels to block the water but these attempts proved futile. We let the front desk know after our first day and upon check out. The response was tepid. As if she was acknowledging the problem without a concern about fixing the issue. If not for the shower issues I would definitely recommend this hotel."
