"We had a great two-day stay in San Diego! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were very clean and spacious enough for four adults. We especially appreciated the excellent handicap parking, which made arrivals much easier. The only downsides were that our room door (277) was quite heavy and hard to close, and the hotel does not have luggage carts which made it a bit difficult since we were traveling with my handicapped grandmother. It’s also quite a walk from the elevators to that specific room....

"The staff was stellar. It was extremely peaceful and quiet. We greatly appreciated our room. Unfortunately, the hygiene was sorely disappointing. I have a suppressed immune system and heart damage, high-level of hygiene is paramount to avoid infections. 1. On one of the pillows was a long wig hair, possibly the linen was not changed from the previous guests. 2. The carpet was extremely dirty and the smell was equally bad. 3. The buildings themselves seem a little tired, but nothing really to complain about. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "

"It was an okay stay. From the pictures of our room when booked, it showed a kitchenette. When we arrived, no kitchenette. I don’t like false advertising. The room was okay. We had little gnats and bugs in the room and that was not okay. Elevators not working. It was very noisy around the complex. The facility is also a timeshare place and they were pushing this option. 2. There were a lot of homeless people living on the surrounding streets including a few buildings that had been burned out around us. It was unexpected. "
