"Staff is not very friendly, we would pass them and say hi or smile and they would just ignore us. They provide free airport shuttle, once we arrived at lobby at time specified we were told to wait at lobby , they would call me and gave me a ticket. They were calling a shuttle for us. We put our luggage by front door and walked into the lobby store for less than 5 minutes and went back to the front door with our luggage. 10 minutes later the receptionst approaches us and tells us the shuttle left...

"This was the ideal hotel to stay in with 24-hours to wait ahead of a long haul flight. Rooms are a bit sterile but clean and very well equipped. The inclusive breakfast was excellent. The pool area was the perfect location for both chilling on a lounger, but also configured for a serious training swim too. "Our stay at Ammata Lanta wasn’t planned. We were caught in the Middle East airspace closures and ended up in Bangkok trying to get back to the U.S. With 36 hours between flights, we didn’t want to sit in the airport, so I searched for something unique near the airport instead of the Marriott.
Ammata Lanta had solid reviews, interesting photos, and a fair price, so I booked two of the lowest priced rooms and hoped for the best.
Our flight arrived at 06:40 and we reached the resort around 09:00...

"Although it's just a bit off the "beaten path" it is very easy to get a taxi and I enjoyed walking to the local 7-11. It seemed like a neighborhood. Shopping and restaurants are just a short taxi ride away. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shuttle service at the wee hours of the morning was very dependable"

"The hotel is modern but the floor in the room was dirty. The toilet was not bolted down and was loose. I requested an extra pillow and they charged 100 baht for it. When I booked a shuttle they charged 100 baht extra for a small bag. Not a good feeling here. The pool was very nice. "

"Traveling with kids 19, 12 and 10 and has adjoining room, there was enough space for all of us. Breakfast was decent and tasty, option for all and is well staffed. Location as a tourist was ok, appreciated had shuttle to mall and BTS, a little removed from areas of interest, however not far from airport so was good location for last few days in Thailand.

"Für eine Übernachtung vor unserem Rückflug genau richtig. Es ist aber ein ordentliches Hotel mit funktionaler und sauberer Einrichtung, freundlichem Personal und einem Restaurant mit Bar bei romantischer Abendatmosphäre an einem kleinen Gewässer.
