Cari Hotel di Venice

"Old tired out building with NO elevator and we were on the fourth floor. 15 stairs to reception then 15 x4 to our room. The breakfast was quite good, the cappuccino was outstanding and the breakfast server was very pleasant. Centrally located in a very worn our tourist ridden overpriced location…"

"Frühstück war eine Katastrophe. Bett gemütlich."

"The property is veery clean and accessible. Location is very convenient"

"Excellent clean and conveniently located air conditioned hotel with cheerful, helpful staff. As it was our first time to Venice we particularly appreciated being met at the airport and assisted by Francesca. Be aware that in Italy when you’re on the 3rd floor that’s North American 4th and there is no elevator. Francesca carried our bags up and the daily trips up and down certainly strengthened our legs! Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The hotel’s rooms are tiny but somehow it quite fits in Venice. Staff was super nice and so was breakfast"

"Breakfast was mediocre. Room seemed cramped."

"Great!"

"Location was the best feature of this hotel. One staff member was fantastic but a few were largely unresponsive - asking questions were met with one word answers and like pulling teeth. Also, note that partial canal view means you’re on the ground floor - the room description does not say this. So be prepared for less privacy or keep your drapes shut which ultimately negates the value of that view itself"

"We were pleasantly surprised with a lovely upgrade to our room! The hotel rooms are wonderful. Very comfortable and quiet. The lagoon is right outside the front door and is stunning at all times of the day. It is a bit of a walk to the main square but easily doable."

"Fantastic location..with water taxi drop off right outside. Lovely hotel with large rooms. Fab breakfast, dinner and food. Hotel offers water taxi straight to airport, very convenient. Stayed 2 nights"

"Positives: well located and only three minute walk from the Grand Canal Rialto Bridge stop, breakfast was very good with lots of variety and the front desk staff was vey helpful. Negatives: the bed was rock hard and the air conditioning was so hard to regulate that we gave up and opened a window to shut it off. The towels were old and worn including one with a hole in it."

"This was a jewel of a hotel. It’s time, almost hidden. It’s right next door to the Rosa Salva Bakery, which is much easier to find. It’s five minutes from St. Mark’s Square and also close to the Rialto Bridge. I wish the TV had more than BBC and Al-Jazeera for those late nights when you’ve walked several miles a day. The WiFi was great, the AC lovely, and importantly, the bed was so, so comfortable. We would definitely stay there again."
