"Really enjoyed our night here for our anniversary. Room was bright, airy and clean and the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. One thing we did notice is that it does require some maintenance on the outside. Our room was on the 1st floor, with a small balcony. Although the weather was fine, we were unable to sit out there as there was too much sitting rainwater, and from looking on the ground up, the balcony edges were worn and looking tired/ messy. "The hotel is amazing with plenty of activities to do. Even though the photos show younger people and the majority are over 50s even the entertainment is targeted to this group. The breakfast and the food is amazing and the grounds is breathtaking."

"The beds are comfortable. The toiletries are of good quality. However, the bathroom was long and narrow. Not easy to use also in summer, have to draw close the heavy curtains as the sun shines right into the room. A trade off as there is no air con and needed the windows to be open"

Photos did not do the property justice it was so spacious including the ground floor balcony. We will be coming back and can’t wait. The food was great and so was the breakfast & pancakes!! "We had to change rooms because the lights wouldn't turn off in our first room. Upon moving to another room, the staff had to unscrew a few bulbs to make things work...shower was good & beds were comfortable Staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was nice...overall a good stay except for the light switch issues"
