"There is no coffee machine in the rooms, not common area coffee for the guests as other similar and lower priced hotels.... I had a cockroach fall on my shoulder in the lobby as I was sitting in one of the couches.... Elevators are a bit slow to catch."

"I’ve had read tons of bad reviews (works on progress, hours waiting for an elevator, rude staff, dirty rooms, terrible breakfast…). This is not the Ritz Carlton! But for a short NY stay it was worth every $ spent. The breakfast was ok, some bread, bananas and oranges and a selection of sugared cereals. I always went early to the restaurant so I didn’t experience any trouble with it being crowded; I also never had any problem with the elevators. And as for the staff being rude, not at all!! All...

"Air conditioner stopped in our room during heat wave. Loud noises outside late at night. No refrigerator. Tiny bathroom with a sliding separator. Staff were great though."

"After check-in it took 20 minutes to access one of three elevators,upon entry to room it had a foul odor,food was left in the small fridge/cooler which was off,we were gagging from the smell. After several calls to a rude associate we finally git a new room.The rooms walls are paper thin could hear normal conversations of people next door, hallway was echo noisy. Will NOT stay here again!!!"

"Hotel is nice, but there was clear water damage in the room we stayed in. The elevators here are absolutely terrible. They take so long, especially when the hotel is packed. The staff seems over it, and there are some random fees that weren't totally expected."

"The hallway outside was never vacuumed during the 4 days we were there. We missed the coffeemaker in the room. The furniture in the room needs to maintained better. The corners of the furniture were chipped and showed bare wood."

"The room was clean and so were the shared bathrooms. Our room did not have air conditioning and this caused us to be downgraded to a room with a single full size bed versus the bunk bed set up originally booked. The second room were were out in also did not have air conditioning so again we were moved to a room with a single full size bed. Overall would not book here again"

"Been to many many hotels before but nothing compared to tempo, from the excellent views of Times Square and the first class customer service that I received really made my days there very pleasant and I look forward in coming back ."
