"Area safe, clean, and walkable. The building, an upgraded 70's style hotel, had two enclosed courtyards, (one had a pool). Visitor access to the lobby computer/printer/scanner. Vending machines, snacks sold in lobby, dedicated reading area with calming music. A+ for this category hotel."

"We checked in and immediately got to our room and noticed two what appeared to blood stains on the floor. I went down and asked for another room which they obliged, however, did not seem surprised at all. The reassigned room was run down and worn out. The wall thermostat didn't work which left us freezing our first night, we ended up using the controls directly on the wall unit to get some type of climate control. "Me and my 2 young girls went on a week-long California road trip which wrapped up with 2 days to explore the San Francisco area. We opted to stay at the Corte Madera inn and were not disappointed!
