"Clean but a bit outdated. The housekeeping staff is incredible!! The Luau was fantastic! The common areas of the property were clean and maintained. Our room was pretty outdated and mediocre. "I’ve stayed here twice and this hotel is really special! The downtown shopping and restaurant area, is literally right there…you can walk to everything from this hotel. The property itself, is lovely — with lots shops, an ABC store, coffee shop, restaurant, as well as pool, bar and small beach. "We stayed at this resort for a week and had a pleasant overall experience. Our room was spacious and equipped with all the basic essentials, which made it easy to prepare breakfast before heading out for the day and occasionally cook dinner as well. The property itself was clean and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which were great for relaxing after a day out. "We had a room right behind the elevator and not sure if that was the tumbling noise we heard beginning very early in the morning and never stopping but it ruined our sleep. They offered us to switch rooms but we had only another night and didn’t want to move all of that baggage. They should have comped us something but didn’t offer and we were too busy to worry about it. The pool is very cold despite somewhere advertised as heated. There were ants in the bathroom and the tub is so slippery...

"I really enjoyed my stay here.. met all my expectations. Wasn't until the last couple days I ordered food to back to my room at the food truck by the pool and was left highly disappointed... if I ate near the pool and not packaged to go the food portions were appropriate.. otherwise i felt completely ripped off. Don't want to punish the resort for a couple few bad actors that seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Ordered food on 6/2 @ 11:30am."

"Stay was easy and very enjoyable. The room was clean, dated but the highlight was the balcony. We ate takeout and breakfasts with a great view but could’ve cooked with the well prepared kitchen. The bed however was definitely lopsided and worn and pillows not too great either. The beach chairs included I would skip on and just rent at a store. Very easy location and parking for all the activities in Kona."
