Moved on the front desk to Registration desk. Greeted with lots of ALOHA. Got great service and the ocean view room. "Nice suite for a weekend. Bed was comfy, tub was nice. Be aware that there is no standard shower, only a tub and hand-held (but it worked fine for us). Some nice touches - fresh fruit (yummy papaya!), nice to have a water dispenser since water bottles don't fit in the bathroom sink. Plenty of towels and bedding just right to adjust temperature (I hate it when the only choices are a HEAVY duvet or just a sheet!). We didn't spend too much time there, but if we'd stayed longer than 2 nights, we...

"Very lovely location and very remote and safe compared to the rest of the town. The waterfall house is a full house with all amenities and is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. The cabins are cute and we had the place to ourselves but if we visit the big island again we will be sure to reserve the waterfall house for the full stay because it’s just so wonderful! Staff was very helpful, peaceful, clean and quiet."

"The lokahi lodge is a very comfortable stay. It’s like staying in a cabin. Very quiet location right next to volcano national park. The room was clean, spacious, and nice. Good stay for anyone wanting to visit the park"

"This was amazing! Great staff, great location AND there's even a swimming hole (5 min walk, if that) with a waterfall! I've never stayed in a shared house before, but this one has spoiled me! It's close enough to be able to drive to all the good tourist spots. Oh, and hopefully you're there for the "big" farmers market on Saturdays. "Place was nice. They have lovely four cats and that’s the one of the main reason why we like this place. They also provide all useful gears for guests to use like beach chairs, sunscreen, snorkeling gear, laundry stuffs, etc. The only thing I would like to say is the orange cat’s eyes has some illness issue. There is a lot of discharge in his eyes. We also have cats, and we believe this can be treated. Please take them to doctors if you can. Thanks a lot. We want to come back next year to see...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was our first experience at a place where clothing was optional. The staff made us feel completely at ease. We slept very well at night to the gentle sounds of rain and the small creatures trilling outside. We encourage anyone to try this place."
